Craig Wilcox trained as an optometrist in Johannesburg and went on to specialise in the treatment and management of ocular disease and pharmaceutical application at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. He holds UK certifications in developmental and behavioural optometry as well as postgraduate qualifications from Cardiff University and Aston University in ocular disease, independent prescribing and glaucoma.
